Favourite makeup buys of my ‘23 Japan Trip

I recently went to japan in 2023 and literally found myself in makeup heaven 👹👹 Here are my top picks!

Lips:

-DHC Lip Balm

> This lip product kept my lips so moisturised throughout my trip especially since I was in negative degree most of the time there. I initially only bought 1 to last me throughout my trip but I ended up buying a few back because I love it so much.

> My bf who HATES having lip products on his lips approves of this, it’s the only lip balm he allows me to apply on him 😒

> No smell, no tint

> 9/10

-Amuse lip tint and Dasique water blur tint

> Both of these lip tints are my go-tos

> They are so pretty on the lips and they smell amazing

> Dosent make my lips peel

> 9/10 for both

Lashes:

-Heroine make mascara remover

> I’m sure everyone has heard of this by now, I’ve used it for years and it’s the only product I trust to remove my waterproof mascara

> Nothing else to say it really does the job just go get it hehe

> 10/10

-Maybeline Sky High Mascara

> Makes my lashes look soooo long

> Waterproof

> It’s the only mascara I will ever use, I bought another Japanese mascara to try but nothing else compares to this

Bronzer :

> Already had this in SG but I loved it so much I had to get another one from JP because it was so much cheaper and it came with a free brush!

> Super natural and easy to use

> 10/10

Love Liner Products :

THEIR PRODUCTS ARE SO UNDERRATED

-Brown Pencil Eyeliner

> Let me just say, I’ve never been an eyeliner girlie but this product changed my mind

> I saw my mother buy this so I decided to just give it a shot as well and omg I use this everyday now

> It looks so natural and pretty on the eyes

> It DOES NOT budge, I tested it in the back of my hand and it did not remove for 2 days…

> 10/10 the BEST

-Lash serum

> The BEST lash serum ever

>Could really tell the difference after awhile

> Even my bf told me my natural lashes look so scary now…

Sunscreens

-Biore Aqua Rich

> I have not used mine yet so I can’t say much but I tried my mums one and it sat under my makeup well so!

-Anessa Skincare Milk Sunscreen

> Everyone loves this sunscreen

> I personally find it okay, I’m not a fan of the oily texture though:(

> However, it sits nicely under my makeup

>4/10

-SkinAqua Sunscreen

> My fav of all time

> I only ever use this, I’ve gone through several bottles of these

> Sits well under makeup

> Not oily, no cast

> Smells good

>10/10

Highlighter

-Cezanne pearl glow highlighter

> Pretty

> I use it as inner corner highlight

> Stays on the whole day
