The Best NYC Rooftop Bars During Golden Hour

NYC is filled with tons of different rooftop bars but not all views are created equally.

These are a few I've visited recently that not only offer incredible skyline views but also provide for a wonderful photo opportunity during golden hour (arguably the best time of day to snap some pics.)

1. The Skylark. This is right in midtown so you'll be up close and personal with the Empire State Building. During golden hour their outdoor deck provides for an amazing photo op and if you visit before 6:30 pm you'll pretty much have the entire place to yourself!

2. The Fleur Room. By far one of the prettiest NYC rooftop bars there is. This Chelsea location provides for excellent views of all the highrises and during golden hour, the large windows allow the entire room to become flooded with natural sunlight. There's also an incredible giant disco ball in here that casts all kinds of crazy light throughout the room.

3. The Highlight Room. This rooftop bar is located downtown but gives you an awesome view of the Freedom Tower in addition to the Empire State Building. Their giant windows allow for plenty of golden sunlight. #nycbucketlist #rooftopbar #restaurantreview #nycstyle
