What I made then, what I make now

Am I happy where I’m at? Yes and no.

I’m really comfortable with the position that I am currently in at my job. I like helping others and I like making sure everything is flowing smoothly in our office but it is disheartening when someone with no experience who just started gets paid almost as much as I do 😅

I started out as a Legal Assistant fresh out of school with my Bachelor’s Degree. I was very happy and thankful for the opportunity as I had little to no experience! $15 an hour at the time seemed amazing.

I now have about 3 years ( I left for a few months to focus on my business) of experience and make $20 an hour. I’m still content but thinking about expanding my horizons and looking elsewhere for a higher paying job. It’s hard out here 😅
