How I Became a Spanish Interpreter! ✨

One of the questions I get asked the most is how I became an interpreter for a Law Firm. These are some of the steps you can take if you are thinking of becoming an Interpreter!

Courses at the University Level are what helped me the most. After graduating with my Associate's Degree at a Community College, I decided to do a Double Major in Political Science and Spanish at Northern Illinois University (NIU) and had to take many Spanish Courses! Just to give some insight I took Spanish Grammar, Spanish Conversation, Hispanic Culture through Film and Spanish Phonology.

I had amazing teachers at NIU who helped ignite my passion to help others who had difficulty communicating into the English Language.

Now I am able to help my Spanish Community where I grew up in.
