I was an alcoholic

Two weeks ago marked one year of sobriety—Alcohol.

The months before I found out I was pregnant (at 3 weeks) I was at my lowest point. From drinking every weekend to drinking every DAY…I was working from home at the time so I was drinking WHILE I was working. I kept a bottle hidden at my desk so my husband didn’t even really know I was getting that bad. I never really told anyone.

I was at my lowest point and that means I DEFINITELY was no where near God…and I think he knew that so he sent me jason (my son). He knew the only way I would stop was by bringing a child into my life. The month before we actually conceived we had given up trying…BUT GOD.

After jason I was NOT drinking like I used to, I drank occasionally and definitely DID NOT get drunk.

I gave my life to christ in April of 2023, I didn’t drink at all after that but did drink a little on May 25, 2023… it didnt even taste the same… I felt that God took that “good taste” away and I felt so convicted… that day I told God I would quit for good. FOR him. It was THROUGH him that I stopped a BAD habit. GOD SAVED MY LIFE even when I didn’t know him & hated him. THANK YOU GOD.
