Announcing my baby’s name…

For the majority of my pregnancy, my daughter’s name was a secret. I made a post a while back about that but my husband and I loved the idea of keeping it just ours and we planned on keeping it secret until she was born. By the time my baby shower rolled around, I was beyond ready to share her name with the world and so we had to decide on how we would announce it to our friends and family members….

I HATE being the center of attention so there was no way I was going to be announcing it at the shower and so I tried to think of a game for our guests to play that would reveal the name. Then, I had a great idea!

I found some DIY scratch off tickets on Amazon and some were blank cards and some had letters that would spell out both baby’s first and middle names. If a guest got a card with a letter they were to come to a table and work together to unscramble the letters to discover her name 💞

Our guests loved it! And after the letters were unscrambled, there was her sweet name:

Aubrielle Joy 💝
