Blackpink “Born Pink” in SG | YG concerts

I went to their concert in 2019 when blackpink first came and did their first tour. I was the middle straight to the stage at the barricade area 💖 and I went to other YG artists concerts as well in the past. Like big bang, 2ne1, YG FAMILY, AKMU, Winner & Ikon.

I went this year as well, gotten Cat 3 but sold it and got VIP A2 standing instead because I love standing concerts for kpop vibe.

But damn my body is old for this.

Day 1 of the concert:

I went to National Stadium to queue for the security check with my friend at 1.30pm. Once open, everybody was rushing and running for their lives. We still have queue in our queue number but it was so messy and the ushers weren’t really helping. I ask a few of them their queue number and I was behind 2028. She said they weren’t according to queue number but I said they will put us later to queue number. And of course a lot of ppl complaining and yes the staff arrange us to queue numbers. (Some of us arrange it ourselves)

Soundcheck:

I was in and I didn’t know where to stand. I wanted to stand in the middle so I can see the main and extended stage at one go like 2019. But there was too many people so I decided to go near the extended stage. I was row 4 behind the barricade which was good already.

After soundcheck:

A lot of people are selfish and didn’t want to move back and decided to sit down first. The front couldn’t really sit at all. And near the main stage, that whole group was standing all the way. The staff didn’t help much.

Concert started at 8pm

I was so excited for the concert to start and yes during the concert I made my way until row 2 😅 but once blackpink came out, the cameras are out, I couldn’t see them at all from the main stage. I had to use my phone to zoom in or see people phones to see them.

So yes jennie, some of us really can’t see you and we had to use our phone to see you guys because of the blockage. I love you jennie 💖 and I knew that jennie gonna say that she see alot of phones and didn’t want us to film because she said that in 2019 as well 🥹

A lot of us were sweating inside the stadium and mosh pit including blackpink which Lisa said it felt like she was in her hometown.

Overall, my experience was good and hope to see blackpink again 🖤💖 some ppl wouldn’t go for standing again but I would. But my body was aching the next day so I didn’t went for day 2
