affordable ✨5-star hotel✨ high tea w champagne!

We made a trip to the Colony at The Ritz Carlton Millenia Hotel Singapore, a 5-star hotel, for their new “The Journey” Afternoon Tea.

This edition of the High Tea is priced at $65++ per pax, and comes with a selection of the hotel's best teas, paired with a complementary glass of champagne, prosecco or a cocktail of your choosing. It’s available weekly from Monday to Saturday, with last orders at 5:15pm. Waiting time was minimal during our time there.

Colony reinvents tingkats. Introducing … High Tea in Tingkats. The assortment of savoury items are presented in a five-tier ceramic tiffins. These are far from your standard tiffin carriers. Each one is wide and beautifully-crafted in ceramic and distinct prints, with the hotel's branding classily emblazoned on its outer rim. There were even warmed stones, rice krispies and oats that complete the chefs’ tasteful terraforming of the tingkat’s interiors.

Tingkats aside, if you're into little desserts that come in small glasses...there's a whole shelf of them! There's even a crepe station and a gelato stand. The best part? These are all free flow! So choose and eat to your heart's content! Savour and indulge under The Ritz Carlton Millenia's iconic towering glass ceiling, which bathes the lounge with perfect natural lighting, with a feature wall adorned with Chihuly's famed glass sculptures.
