🫶🏽Not only are these cream stuffed cookies refined sugar free, they’re also completely dairy free! Which means we can eat more in moderation without the extra calories or unnecessary and processed sugars!
🍪These are one of my favorite post workout snacks because they’re truly filling and taste absolutely delicious!
⭐️I used to eat store brought protein bars but noticed after consuming them that I’d get terrible stomach aches.
⭐️Once I began understanding the differences between higher quality ingredients and oils, I began to make my own snacks instead! Needless to say, my cravings are satisfied and no more stomach aches 🫶🏽
📝recipe:
Cookie recipe:
1 cup of almond flour
1 scoop of chocolate plant based protein powder
1 tsp of cacao powder
1 tbsp of organic coconut oil
1 tbsp of organic maple syrup
Directions:
combine all ingredients and mix well until a smooth dough like texture is formed. Form round shaped cookies and place in the oven at 350F for 15-20 minutes. Once baked, remove from oven and place on cooking rack to chill.
Cream filling:
1 cup of dairy free yogurt
1 scoop of chocolate plant based protein powder
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth. Place cream filling in a piping bag and pipe the side of one cookie until desired as seen in image. Enjoy!
