1. Consistency/discipline

show up everyday no matter what. Whether you’re tired, depressed, lacking motivation. Doesn’t matter. Most of the time you’ll feel uplifted after working out & eating healthy anyway. Just show up. If you can’t make it to the gym then make up for that in your calories or by getting more steps in. Show up somehow, someway. Every. Single. Day. There’s no such thing as a perfect day either. It’s the little things that add up to immense results!

2. Healthy lifestyle

I’d be lying if I said I never have a soda or cookie every now and then. Of course I do! But do I fall for every tempting treat that calls my name? Noooooo. It’s all about balance. The most important thing when trying to lose/gain weight is calories but you want the most bang for your buck. If you’re only allotted 2000 calories a day don’t waste those calories eating a box of pizza. Instead go for well balanced meal with vegetables and protein. Then you can have multiple meals & still be within your calories. Also, make sure you’re in taking lots of water & getting good rest too.

3. Patience

Don’t rush the process. Nobody got their dream body overnight. Stay focused on the big picture while enjoying the journey ahead. If you want it bad enough, you’ll get it, no matter what. It’s inevitable. Give yourself time to work on your mindset while simultaneously working on your body. You’ll appreciate the results more this way.
