I got ❗️BREAKOUTS❗️ in China because of its water 😭

I want to clarify that I'm not claiming the water in Shanghai is dirty; I know mineral content varies by country, and not everyone may be sensitive to it.

I lived in Shanghai for almost six months, and as someone who doesn’t have acne problem, I was concerned when I started experiencing breakouts. Despite changing my skincare routine and diet, nothing improved until I returned to Singapore. At the time, I suspected it might be the water since it was the most consistent factor in my environment, but I didn’t draw any conclusions.

During a recent trip to Shanghai, I noticed my skin acting up again. I also came across other online posts about breakouts after visiting Shanghai, which made me reconsider the water as a possible cause. Having lived in northern China for 1.5 months without issues, I concluded that the tap water might be the possible cause possibly due to its mineral content.
