β’ 1/2 cup boiling water
β’ **1/2 cup treated flour
β’ 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
β’ 1/4 cup salt
β’ 1.5 teaspoon canola oil
β’ 1/4 cup sugar
β’ Measure with your hearts content - pickled beets
π©π»βπ³ Homemade Playdough Instructions:
1οΈβ£ Combine water and beets in a pot and bring to boil.
2οΈβ£ While waiting for the water to boil, combine your dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
3οΈβ£ Optionally remove whole beets from water. Leaving beets in dough adds texture and helps color.
4οΈβ£ Remove from heat and add the oil.
5οΈβ£ Slowly stir in the dry ingredients. Continue mixing until the playdough forms a ball.
6οΈβ£ When the playdough is cool enough, knead it until it is no longer sticky.
