this is my first time eating mexican food (other than guzman y gomez!) and i must say it was a pretty interesting experience.

afterwit de bar burrito is a halal mexican bar that is located along haji lane. they serve a range of food from nachos to tacos & burritos as well as mocktails and desserts like churros.

price range: 💲💲(about $20~)

it's a tad bit pricy for the platters but worth your buck. very generous with portions. burritos are slightly cheaper!

ambience: 4/5 ⭐️

the ambience of this place is dim like a bar, with industrial aesthetics as well as a big neon sign on one of the walls.

nachos: 5/5 ⭐️

very generous with the portion of beef, way too much for 2 ppl to share! i suggest 3-4pax share one if you are ordering other things!

taco platter: 4/5 ⭐️

a bit pricy but it is definitely filling! first time having tacos and i might have found my favorite kind of taco. out of all 6 tacos, i would recommend these 2 tacos to try:

🍤 prawnstar (crispy battered shrimp with yuzu sriracha aioli)

🥩 cheeky git (beef cheek in coffee sauce & truffle mayo)

drinks: 3/5 ⭐️

my berry mint mojito was okay but we didn't like virgen azul margarita which was a pickled mocktail.... personal preferences though!

churros: 4/5 ⭐️

deep fried to perfection! crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. love the dulce de leche sauce with its caramel-ly thickness.

overall, i enjoyed my time there and will be back with my other friends! 👍🏻❣️
