Genting Highlands #travel #shortgetaway

Day 0: Took bus at 8:30pm from📍boonlay shopping centre. Booked the bus in advance from easybook.com

Day 1:

Morning: Took around 6-7 hours to arrive at Genting Highlands Sky Avenue. We reached at around 3am. Some food places are open 24 hours. 📍Tips: We booked hotel at grand ion delemen which is about 3.7km from sky avenue as the hotels near sky avenue were all fully booked during the festive season/public holiday period we were there. There are free shuttle bus provided by the hotel.

We killed time at the sky avenue Casino while waiting for the first shuttle bus. Was stopped by the security guards to place our bags at the locker before proceeding into the casino. (Lockers are located at the second floor). Be sure to place your bags in the lockers before heading in! Small bags are allowed.

Afternoon: brought new spectacle from owndays! Lunch at sky avenue before heading to the hotel.

Evening: Dinner at sky avenue Burger and Lobster. Lobster is a must have and the garlic butter dipping sauce is dah bomb. Brought the Tower of London set for 4-6 pax at RM 988. Pretty worth it.

Day 2:

Took the Genting Skyway cable car to Chin Swee Cave Temple followed by Genting premium outlet mall. Dinner back at sky avenue as there is not much food options at the premium outlet mall other than fast foods. The only transportation required is cable car if you are only going to these places mentioned. The tickets for the cable car can be brought at sky avenue (level 4). 📍Tips: Suggest to buy express cable car ticket if you there on weekend/festive period. It will be useful on your way back from premium outlet mall as it is the last station and everyone may start going back sky avenue in the evening. We had to queue for an hour at around 5pm to take the cable car from Genting premium outlet mall to sky avenue.

Day 3:

Back sg. The traffic jam was super bad. Took 12 hours from Genting to sg because it was a public holiday/festive season. Avoid festive season if u can!

There are plenty of theme parks to visit such as the skytropolis (indoor theme park at sky avenue), Genting sky world theme park etc , KTV , massage, VR etc as well!
