Sooo today was a very easy day.

I’m a Patient Access Representative in southwest Louisiana.

I work as a “float” so I go to different facilities within our health network. Sometimes I’m at primary care doctors, sometimes specialties, urgent cares, and labs.

Today, I was at our prepare lab.

So it’s pretty simple.

My day consists of checking patients in, collecting their copay if they have one, and verifying their insurance.

We actually have a lot of downtime at this location so you can see I was reading for a while.
