my first exclusive PR invite: YSL Loveshine 🤍

I just attended the YSL LOVESHINE FACTORY—the official product launch for the gorgeous YSL Loveshine Lipstick 💄. YSL is genuinely one of my favvv luxury brands so I felt extra grateful that it was my first PR event 🩷

after registration, I got the cutest door gifts ever!

before I share more, you should DEFINITELY get the YSL Loveshine: both the lipstick & candy glaze 💄. they are absolutely gorgeous, from the packaging to the lovely product!! they're super hydrating too 💦!

ok so I did NOT get my invite via lemon8. instead, I got it from Sephora as a gold member. as mentioned in an earlier post, Sephora hauls are my guilty pleasure 😅 and I spent enough (too much lol) to get to the gold membership level 🏅. the event was honestly REALLYYY different from what I expected; here's how it went.

my expectation: a quaint and quiet PR event with product showcases and BA (based on my work at PR events eg. Dior, Chanel, Bobbie Brown).

the reality: kinda a party 🎉!! I saw practically every SG influencer / model / tiktoker I've ever seen while scrolling through social media. it was kinda strange (not in a bad way) to witness all of them in real life rather than as a combination of pixels.

it was honestly superrrr intimidating at first because I felt really humbled being surrounded by all these super gorgeous and talented influencers 😅. everyone was dressed sooo fabulously🔥. we sat at the most distant sofa during the product launch lol (which was rlyyy cool 🎊). my plus one and I just kept to ourselves initially and walked around the venue (SUPER cute decorations!!)

then we got some cocktails 🍸 and canapés 🍮 before proceeding to L2. here, we got our gifted products engraved!! it was sooo cute omg and the lady engraving my products was the absolute SWEETEST 🥹 we chatted with her for a while and she gave us her favourite gummy 🍬 reccs from the loveshine candy shop which we enjoyed 😝

after that, we snapped some pictures at really cute photo spots 📸 (which we admittedly didn't take full advantage of 🙊). at the end of the day, we took a special loveshine buggy back to beach station from where we got to vivo.

the event was definitely a 10/10 ⭐️ the experience was so well thought out and planned and would be fun for anyone accustomed to PR events (we were too inexperienced to fully appreciate it 😅). I felt as though it was a lot less pretentious than other events I've worked at which was nice! honestly, all the influencers we spoke to were really sweet 🥰!
