POV: Scent-sory experience at home

Close your eyes, you smell a blend of lemongrass, ylang-ylang & a hint of floral oils…did you imagine yourself walking into a spa & massage parlour in Bangkok or Bali? If yes, you will totally get me when I say, scents can evoke certain memories and emotions.

So we used different scents at different spots in our home, to help us relax and just generally feel good 😌 I think the recurring theme in our scents is they are mostly floral, but not too sweet.

Each of the image above has a breakdown of each diffuser/candle scent, but the one both my husband and I love the most is the one from Jo Malone, Lavender & Moonflower #NotAnAd. Its really so so comforting and I usually spray it on our pillow and duvet before bed time. It makes dozing off to dreamland that tad bit more luxurious, like we’re on a staycation ☺️
