How TaoBao elevated my home for CHEAP!

For some reason, nice decoration pieces are not that cheap in Singapore.

When Crate and Barrel was still around in Singapore, decorations were going for upwards of $50, some even $100 over. Though those pieces were nice, it just didn’t make financial sense to spend so much on non-functional pieces of eye candy.

Therefore, I turned my eyes to TaoBao! The prices there are reasonable! But do take note of additional shipping fees on top of the listed price. To save money, I often bulk deliver my items and choose sea shipping.

Do note!! If you are using Cai Niao each order can only consolidate up to 30 items. Ubfortunately, 8% GST will need to be paid for all items being imported in to Singapore regardless of cost 🥲(Edit made to update GST information)

Lastly! If you are purchasing fragile items like porcelain vases or glass jewellery boxes - make sure to indicate on your order or send a message to the seller that you would like to reinforce the delivery package as it is for shipping overseas! Use Google translate if you need to :)
