Meet Jupiter, a Monstera plant! 🤍

Monsteras have been one of my favorite plants for years and years and now I finally have one! 🌱

Trader Joe’s has so many plants this time of year and it was the perfect opportunity to grab one, and for only $13!

Monsteras are native to tropical regions, so they enjoy lots of humidity and indirect bright sunlight! Since I live in a really dry climate I have been doing my best to mist the leaves, using a humidifier and even putting it in the steamy bathroom during shower times!

Even though monsteras enjoy humidity, they’re very picky when it comes to being over watered and it is recommended to wait until the top 2-4 inches of soil has dried out to water it again!

Fun fact, monsteras are also known as the “Swiss cheese plant”, because of how the leaves split and resemble Swiss cheese!
