CAFE HOPPING IN TOKYO Pt 2! ✨🎌☕️

Neighbourhoods:

📍Shimokitazawa, Asakusa, Yanaka, Koenji

I drank more coffee than I ate I think… but every coffee I had was good, just up to preference!

1. Brooklyn Roasting Company

• Known for their coffees and brunch, but I had their lunch menu of pork ribs, a 7/10!

• Suitable for solo working individuals (power plugs 🔌), friends and large groups

• Space was incredible

2. Onibus Coffee, Nakemeguro

• you defo will be here if you’re chasing the 🌸, it’s a good space with a nice seating space right beside the brewing space, but it’s a bit too crowded at times ): great latte though it was full-bodied with strong coffee :)

3. Fuglen, Asakusa

• Personally prefer the OG branch at Shibuya, but I enjoyed the bar seats at the Asakusa branch haha

• Espresso Shakerato was refreshing, and try the waffles! 🧇

• Pretty easy to locate, near the shopping streets

4. Kayaba Coffee, Yanaka

• A cosy shophouse in the corner street, I enjoyed the vibe here the most with a window seat

• Russian - Chocolate x Coffee (for Mocha lovers who don’t want the milk element) 🫶🏻

• Wooden furnishing honestly a VIBE

5. Think about Bread and Pastry, Yanaka

• it’s a bakery located in a larger traditional complex Uenosakuragi Atari, which houses Yanaka Beer Hall, an event space, and an eatery.

• BEST GARLIC BREAD it’s not just garlic bread. Heard the sourdough was great too :)

6. Five Coffee, Yanaka

• I found this along the residential area on my way to Kamachiku for Udon, latte was smooth and comforting without too much milk! Good for a pitstop

7. Yanaka Coffee

• Like Fuglen, they have many branches across Tokyo and I was at the Sendagi branch and the space was lovely

• You can pick your own beans and bring it back, or have the staff roast it for your coffee

8. Mowe Coffee, Koenji

(IG: mowe_coffee)

• Probably the best latte I’ve had on my whole trip, loved the space as well. Located along a quiet street near Koenji Station, the cafe is a serene nook and a great pre/post thrift treat
