Things I’m struggling with right now. (tips on how to feel better, encouraged!)
I’m going to get a little vulnerable with this so BUCKLE UP!
- SELF-ESTEEM AND BODY IMAGE ISSUES
The reason I’m so unhappy most of the time is because when I look in the mirror I don’t recognize the person looking back. I hate the person I see, but I’m trying to learn to love myself a lot more.
- DISSOCIATION
I’ve struggled with dissociation for a long time, I have trouble grounding myself when it happens. I usually try to take a few deep breaths and blink repeatedly to get myself to kind of “wake” back up.
- BUDGETING AND SPENDING HABITS
The thing with ADHD is that people who have it OFTEN have a hard time saving their money. Spending recklessly is a big problem of mine and I honestly don’t know how to stop, nor do I know how to budget. (Don’t come at me pls)
- TAKING MY MEDS REGULARLY
I’ve tried everything in order to get myself to take my medication but I somehow always forget. Sometimes I’ll be just “too lazy” to take my pills, but in reality I just can’t drive myself to take them. Why is that? I’m so confused.
- MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY MOTHER
When we were younger we were so close! We were like best friends. But ever since I turned 17 we just haven’t gotten along. I started doing things that she didn’t agree with. Which was really frustrating because she doesn’t know how hard I’m trying to be a good daughter.
- SLAYING TOO HARD
