✨the soup is chef’s kiss✨

the soup is not your typical anchovy broth, I would describe it to have a smokey yet pleasantly umami taste! you can definitely finish the whole bowl of soup!!

their noodles is also cooked just right and still chewy to eat. definitely recommend having their mee hoon kueh!

next, their ingredients are super good and generous! the basic bowl going at $4.50 is enough to satisfy you with it’s egg, minced pork and pork slices. however, adding just $1 elevates your meal with an additional pork ball and shrimp ball. pretty valuable for money if you ask me.

their dry version with the dark sauce is also just as great and sometimes I can’t decide which one I like more.

so, do give them a try!! it’s now my go to ban mian place. and while you’re there, you can also pop by Stamford Arts Centre for A Date with Tradition during the Singapore Night Festival’s three weekend of activities.
