πŸ“Signature KOI

As a huge macaron fan, I was really excited to try KOI’s macarons. They only sell them at certain outlets and I got mine at Star Vista (mall) in the West. For a box of 5 pieces, it was $19, $3.80 per piece which was definitely on the pricier side.

There were a total of 10 flavours: Dark Chocolate, Baileys (contains alcohol), Vanilla, Pistachio, Cookies and Cream, Nutella, Earl Grey, Salted Caramel, Rum and Raisin and Rose.

I got their Cookies and Cream, Salted Caramel, Baileys, Pistachio and Rose macarons. I would say that they taste pretty similar to the macarons from Annabella Patisserie, a Japanese-French inspired bakery. Their macarons are priced at 6 pieces for $9.90 which is a fraction of the price but these are smaller in size as compared to KOIs’.

Overall, I think that KOI’s macarons are nice and I like that the flavours are not artificial-tasting. However, I do not think that it is worth the price and would recommend getting TWG macarons instead for this price point.
