I’m so angry!!!!!

Hello friends. Today I want to talk about anger. A lot of the time when people get upset, they react the way the flesh wants to react. But we are called to react the way GOD wants us to.

Today someone who is a fellow Christian wanted to cause problems and claim that I’m just a lukewarm Christian who doesn’t actually care about God. This person even caused issues with another person, going as far as to insinuate that they aren’t a real believer in Christ just because of a small disagreement. I wanted to yell and cuss and shout “how DARE you!!”

But…

I stopped and thought for a moment. Satan wants me to react that way. Satan knows what gets under my skin. Satan knows that the hardest sin for me to deal with is anger. This was an attempt by him to cause me to sin. So I bridled my tongue. And I moved on.

James 1: 19-20 says: “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”

Everything that we do and say should reflect what we are taught in the Bible. A lot of people are truly affected by the way the see us act.

When nonbelievers look at us what do you want them to think?

Do you want them to say “If Christians act like that, I want nothing to do with them!!”

OR..

“Wow I wish I knew how to stay calm like that. Maybe them being Christian has somethin to do with it..”

Of course we are not responsible for what other people do or say or think..but that does not mean we have no impact.
