Coffee will forever be one of my guilt-free pleasures in life.
I really feel like I have mastered the coffee barista in me to make myself a bomb iced cup of coffee in the morning which ultimately makes me really look forward to my mornings when I am busy being a single mom to a very demanding toddler 😚
One of my favorite ways to create my iced coffee is to froth my espresso powder, a couple of teaspoons of brown sugar, and just enough water to cover the coffee and sugar. I froth until it’s golden brown and creamy.
I like to add 2-3 cubes of ice (add more if that’s your preference) and I add caramel sauce on top. I proceed to make my caramel cold foam!
You will need some heavy whipping cream, milk of your choice (mine is oat or almond milk), a dash of cinnamon, a dash of himalayan salt, and caramel sauce (or your choice of syrup).
I eyeball this entirely, feel free to add you own measurements if you’d like! Froth all ingredients together and lightly top your coffee with your cold foam.
✨ WHAT YOU NEED ✨
COFFEE:
+ 2 TSP OF ESPRESSO POWDER
+ 2 TSP OF BROWN SUGAR
+ A SPLASH OF YOUR MILK OF CHOICE (MINE IS OAT OR ALMOND MILK)
COLD FOAM:
+ A COUPLE SPLASHES OF HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM
+ A SPLASH OF YOUR MILK OF CHOICE
+ CARAMEL SAUCE (AS MUCH AS YOUR HEART DESIRES 😏)
+ A PINCH OF HIMALAYAN SALT
+ A DASH OF CINNAMON
(Heavy whipping cream and milk ratio should be anywhere from 3:1 or 2:1. Depends how thick you want it.)
Add a finishing touch of caramel syrup on top, drop a straw and enjoy!
