Christmas markets in Europe remain UNDEFEATED 🎅

Europe takes holiday celebrations to an entirely new level, and it's worth making a trip to experience them for yourself. While Germany tends to be most famous for their elaborate markets, most countries host their own markets and add their own unique local/regional spin on the decor, fesitivites, and - most importantly - FOOD.

Don’t make the mistake of visiting a European Christmas Market with a full stomach - there are SO many delicious eats, drinks, and sweets to sample!

You will find slightly different variations depending on which country you visit. For example:

🇧🇪in Belgium, you are bound to find delicious, fresh waffles, along with a gin-like liquor, genever.

🇩🇪 in Germany, there are plenty of wurst sausages roasting over an open fire, with gluhwein (mulled wine) to wash them down.

🇩🇰 in Denmark, gløgg is the drink of choice, which goes great with æbleskiver (mini Dutch pancakes).

🇫🇷 in France, be prepared for lots of vin chaud (hot wine), freshly made crêpes, and tartiflette (a hearty dish of cheese, potatoes, and ham).
