I think there is something truly special about lingering over a latte before heading out to explore a new city, and it's how I prefer to spend my mornings when I travel.

After visiting 33 states and 36 countries, Chiang Mai, Thailand WITHOUT A DOUBT has the highest concentration of coffeeshops with the most elegant design. The coffee itself is fantastic as well, which is typically grown in the nearby mountainous region and served by true experts. And did I mention the price? Most of these artisanal drinks cost only $1-2!
