How to make Tomato Sauce Pork Strips?
Ingredients:
• 300g pork (cut into strips)
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• 1 medium tomato (diced)
• 1 small onion (diced)
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
• 2 tablespoons oil (for frying)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Green herbs (optional garnish)
Instructions:
1. Marinate the pork strips: Season the pork strips with salt and pepper. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
2. Stir-fry pork: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the pork strips and stir-fry until they turn golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook vegetables: In the same pan, add the diced onion and tomato. Stir-fry until softened.
4. Add sauce ingredients: Stir in tomato paste, soy sauce, sugar, and some water. Bring to a simmer.
5. Thicken sauce: Slowly add the cornstarch mixture, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
6. Combine pork and sauce: Add the pork strips back into the pan. Stir well to coat the pork with the tomato sauce.
7. Serve: Garnish with fresh green herbs if desired, and serve with steamed rice.
