I don’t know about you but this right here bothers me and let me tell you why….

I have PCOS, I’m 27 years young and I’ve been battling PCOS since I was 12. My periods have never EVER been normal I go from years of not having a single cycle to having a partial one or two then right back to years of nothing. Since I was 12 due to my PCOS I have said in countless occasions that it makes me feel like less of a woman & it’s been something I have and still am struggling with.

For the longest time I was unwilling to listen to doctors who at the time felt like all they wanted to do was prescribe me the “PILL” even when I’m telling them “HEYYYY HELLO I DONT HAVE A PERIOD EVER SO PRETTY SURE PREGNANCY ISNT GOING TO BE AN ISSUE” and it was a absolutely why I went years without seeing a doctor for the issue. Now here I am years later taking the birth control praying that at the end of this month I will finally have a period and hopefully become regular because someday I want kids of my own and I’m hoping my body will allow me to do that without the help of IVF or other form of fertility treatment.

The reason why my above statement makes me so upset is because I’m 285 days late and it’s still telling me to take a pregnancy test, for someone who is desperate to have her own kids and the countless times I’ve taken pregnancy tests and watched each and every single one of them come back negative, this just makes me upset.

PCOS AWARENESS IS IMPORTANT AND I BELIEVE MORE PEOPLE SHOULD TALK ABOUT IT AND HOPEFULLY FIND MORE WAYS TO DEAL WITH IT AS WELL ⭐️
