How often should girlfriends get flowers??

#letschat my bf gets me flowers every week, whether it’s store bought or hand picked from the side of a street. i think it’s such a cute gesture, because he says that every time he sees flowers, it reminds him of me.

i am a very “social media” person and i just post random “current moment” photos, mostly in my “close friends” on instagram. majority of them were how it’ll be my bf with flowers.

long story short, a ‘friend’ of mines told me that it’s so “unethical, unjust & unnecessary to be receiving that many flowers” and that i was “so extra”.

i have NEVER asked my bf for flowers— and on top of that, the flowers i do get majority goes to compost, which i help around his mom’s garden.

so yea, how often should one get flowers?
