It was only recently that I started doing face contour because as I age, I noticed that my cheeks became fuller and the entire face looked wider. Something that I kinda didn't like.
So here's me with simple contour tutorial that looks soft & subtle!
I don't like harsh contours, in my make-up routine, I always imagine that when someone looks at me, they should see everything well-blended, no harsh lines or colors, I want everything I put in my face to compliment my features too, to not over-do beauty.
I got myself a Patrick Ta Beauty Creme & Bronzer Duo at Sephora for $40
First, I use the creme contour using my index finger on my nose making sure the line is straight and a little close on the bridge to make it look slimmer. And yes the shade I got looks really light. (Shade: She's Statuesque)
Then I proceed the do a contour on my cheek area, using again the creme contour with my index finger.
Using my index finger helps me determine where I should position my contour too.
Second, I grab my trusty brushes! I start getting a powder contour then work on my nose creating straight line up and down to diffuse the cream line and incorporate the powder. I do this very slow and with precision to make sure the pigments don't go anywhere.
The same goes for my cheek contour, I apply powder then blend it upwards, so the face will look lifted.
I did this sample on a clean face, and it looks better in person.
I hope you liked this one!
