When I started taking birth control I never thought I’d have any issues with it - because despite hearing from people all the horrible things that the pill could do to you- I thought I was a normally non-emotional, stable person and didn’t think it would phase me a bit.
It didn’t take long before I started to:
👉🏽 gain a lot of weight and no matter how much gym time and diets I did, I could not keep my weight down.
👉🏽 I started feeling depressed and that quickly spiraled down very fast.
👉🏽 panic attacks became a daily occurrence.
👉🏽 anxiety hit me, and I’d never experienced that before so that was a whole new experience for me.
👉🏽 my emotions were all over the place ALL the time and I truly felt like an alien in my own body.😩
but there were a few pros to it:
👍🏽 I didn’t have nearly as heavy periods as I normally did.
👍🏽 period cramps were much better
👍🏽 and acne became almost non existent 😮
this is your sign to make sure you have explored all the BC options before diving into taking the pill. 🙃 and also this doesn’t happen for everyone, I know people who are taking the pill and are perfectly fine. Just my experience and wanted to share 🫶🏽
