DIY OUTDOOR HANGING LIGHT POLE PLANTERS

This was such a great DIY project that added so much to our outdoor space.

It was a pretty easy DIY too.

If you live in a cold climate with freezing temps during the winter, you’ll need a more durable pot, as plastic can crack. We used these for 2 years before building our pergola and had zero issues.

You can also use smaller planter buckets to set the pole and concrete into and then place the whole thing into a planter. I would probably do that instead if I were to do this project over. That way if you want to change planters, you could.
