I pay $1+ per month for my Spotify plan 🤩

hi 🍋! if you’re sharing a family/duo spotify plan or own an individual/student spotify plan, i have a hack on how to save even more $$$ with ur spotify subscription!!

recently my friend whom i’ve been sharing a spotify family plan with decided to terminate the sharing so i was on the lookout for new account sharing plans when i stumbled upon this service on taobao.

these taobao sellers (idk how they do it) are able to sell the subscription plan for an even lower price, so i ended up getting a year’s subscription for only S$23.41, which equates to ~S$1.95 each month! This is cheaper than the family plan which is ~$3/month per pax.

keywords to search for: 美区音乐，spotify 会员.

the listings look quite sus and there aren’t a lot of reviews, so do proceed at your own risk!

also, i think some listings have the option to choose whether you want a 1 month, 6 months, or 1 year plan so if you want to just try it out, get the 1 month plan!

upon purchasing, you can message the seller and they will tell you the steps needed to proceed.

in my case, i had to give them my spotify email and pw (which i was comfortable giving because there weren’t any cards tied to my account and the pw is a random generated one), so if you’re not comfortable with sharing, then i wouldn’t recommend you to proceed further! (also, i do know of some shops that will provide you with a brand new spotify account, so check with them before purchasing!)

the whole thing (from purchasing to activating the plan) took < 5 mins so i would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a budget friendly way of using spotify!! (but obviously there are risks involved so use your own judgement! i’m just sharing what worked for me but still be safe when making your own purchase!)

also, this is not limited to taobao only, even for other services like netflix, disney+ and audible, there are listings for those subscription plans! and i’m planning to try it once my netflix plan expires 😚😚
