Emily Henry has been one of my favorite authors over the last few years and each time she releases a new book, it becomes an instant new favorite of mine. Book Lovers was no exception to the absolute magic she writes. In Book Lovers, you get the charming and beautiful love story of Charlie and Nora. From the beginning, I knew Nora was going to be a favorite female main character. She is a smart, caring, and strong female lead and Charlie adds so much charisma, and honesty to the story as the male lead. Talk about the perfect grumpy x grumpy couple! Book Lovers also combines two of my absolute favorite tropes: enemies-to-lovers and small-town romance, with a sprinkle of forced proximity. Also the dialogue and banter in this book? Next level. I always say that Emily Henry is an excellent place to start if you are considering trying romance books and don’t know where to begin. Book Lovers will grip you from the start and pull on your heart strings the whole way.
