After being in a few failed relationships, and starting to date again but meeting not so nice people … sometimes I wonder to myself,

𝓓𝓸𝓮𝓼 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓮𝔁𝓲𝓼𝓽? ❤️

As a hopeless romantic, it hurts to think that it might be gone. Sometimes life hits us hard, we feel lonely, alone and after so many failed connections… it makes you wonder why it is so difficult.

Love doesn’t exist only romantically though, it exists in your friendships, the things you make if you are creative, the music you love, the hobby you have, the pretty things around you that someone made with love, those nice gestures from a stranger, kindness.

We should be the love we wish to see first. I refuse to believe that love doesn’t exist, there’s enough horrible things in this world and it takes courage to still remain soft and genuine.

I’m a pretty spiritual person, yoga, tarot, astrology, I read all about them and did my research when I could, its just super fascinating to me.

🔮 When I feel lost and empty I would meditate, and get a tarot reading done, they have repeatedly told me the same thing in this moment of my life -

Do the things you love(discover your inner child again, be creative) and the love that you crave will come. You attract what your mindset is like.

I was also reading this book, Good life, Good vibes by Vex King - its a self love book and it pretty much summarises all I have learnt from the above. Be the love that you wish to see, love yourself so hard that you only attract the love you deserve~

Love is also about accepting yourself as you are, before you feel complete enough to attract healthy love. Take a look at your shadow sides and work on them.

Sometimes people may reject who you are but that’s okay, sometimes they can't handle your light, and those people just aren’t meant for you.
