I was in 2 rs the past two years so havent been on dating apps much until recently, and after going through those roller coasters I open my eyes big big now hahah.

Honestly met him to jus get over my ex hahah

Man went back to his ex 3 weeks after we met.

Work: Engineer

Human B: Cool tech guy (25)

Mans still in uni but he's so interesting, funny and did alot of hackathons, went to california to start his startup, super cool.

work: student+ side hustling

Human C: Ah beng (29)

He lived in my area soo I just thought why not meet, we went pasarmalam hahah and he caught me a penguin. workholic also.

Work : grab fuud delivery

Human D: Boi thats late for 1hr (27)

I went peace centre and he looked artsy so I just ask him along. Quite cool guy I guess but he was sick das why he late. But he abit short. Honestly our chat quite soulless except that he tell me about abandon places in sg.

Work: he jus grad uni

Human E: workaholic but best chat so far (27)

We just chill under my block hahaha but we had very good chats online so we decided to meet, and we talked till like 2am. Mans a walking chat gpt annd taught me alot abt history.

- Guys are clumsy af, the stories they tell me are like insane, one kept falling everywhere, another one keep bang into poles and glass doors??? (see slide 3)

- theres actually alot of abandon places to explore in sg

- some guy in ns dk how cook maggie, cooked the whole packaging too

- alot of ppl jobless rn

- Alot of breakups happened last year

- alot of us has childhood truama

- people work a lot and study v hard

- there are super talented people out there

- there are also super dumb people

- uni has a lot of horn** people

Insights I concluded 🌟

Everyone is too busy or stressed out to date.

Most want a casual connection rather than actually get to know someone.

Only 2 guys actually asked me useful questions to get to know me.

It feels like they all want to be financially stable before choosing someone to love, or they just dont like me enough hahah.

Number of guys I was/am actually interested in: 2? 1 that I am texting hahah but he doesnt want to date so we stayed as text buddies. The other is wip.

Summary:

Out of 24 people you talked to, you might only end up liking 2 and have it go somewhere.

Also adult dating is really different compared to dating in school. There's lesser time and more tired humans, that's why most of the first meets are just hangouts!
