Why I stopped smiling🦷😬

At some point in life I just gave up on myself, I was too distracted by things that weren’t as important then to me than I thought, guys, gossip, hanging out all the time instead of focusing on school, specially after a traumatic time at the dentist feared me to go back ever again, I’ve been last year but the doctor looked at me and said some of these teeth gotta go and they did, after that, I have had a fear of dating anybody who would still find my pretty without my missing teeth I’ve always felt beautiful with them but since I had a few removed I was so scared of being rejected and sadly I got my first dose of reality, not everyone likes people with missing teeth and that’s okay cause to most people looks matter, in 2023 I was getting ready for a date, he came to pick me up for the movies, he showed up and I went outside, hopped in his car, I was so nervous about smiling at him and he asked why I was acting so shy and I had to tell him I couldn’t lie and say oh nothing so I told him and he said oh gosh are you serious I showed him and he looked a little shocked, after that he said “ why don’t I pick you up later at 7:30pm then we can go on our date you seem like you need it heal up “ even though it was a couple days after I had my teeth removed, I told him that was okay and I went inside, 7:30pm came and then it was 7:45pm okay he’s a little late maybe, then all of a sudden it was 9:00pm he didn’t show and I was hurt knew why he bailed, harsh reality looks do matter and I’ve accepted it🥹🩷 #yourbeautiful
