My go-to meal for rainy days? 🍲☔️

Recently, with Singapore's chilly and rainy weather, I wanted to share my favorite comfort meal for such days! Tokyo Shokudo is my ultimate go-to when the rain is pouring ☔️ I actually stumbled upon this gem on a rainy day, call it fate.

Their menu is a delight for Japanese cuisine lovers, featuring sushi, ramen, Tsukemen, takoyaki, and more. On my visit, I opted for the Chicken Chashu Ramen, and it was like a warm hug in a bowl. The tender noodles in a rich and flavorful broth, combined with the delicious chicken chashu, made every bite a burst of goodness. I found myself savoring every bit and finishing the entire bowl (rare occurrence for me)! 🤪

I think the meal gave me such an impact because it really felt like a warm embrace from the inside out. It's the kind of meal that makes you forget all about the gloomy weather outside and fully immerse yourself on the meal and conversation you’re having.🫶🏻🥹
