Maybelline Tattoo Brow VS. Benefit Gimme Brow! 🤝🏼✨

This is suuuch an interesting face-off because Benefit Cosmetics is known to be the No. 1 Brow brand but Maybelline, on the other hand, has also proved their knack for producing high quality brow products 🌟

The Maybelline Tattoo Brow 3-Day Eyebrow Gel is their most promising and hyped brow product yet! It's pigmented, waterproof, transfer-proof, smudge-proof and it lasts for 3 days! It's a semi-permannet product for the girlies out there who can't get eyebrow microblading just yet or those that need that extra tint and volume. There is a bit of a learning curve to it, you might have to practice before wearing it out.

How to Use:

1. Wipe off excess product - the applicator tends to pick up more product than needed so you're really going to have to get rid of all the excess product at the rim of the bottle

2. Start from the middle in case there's too much product - you might get too much tint or streaks at the front of your brow with less hair so better to apply first at the middle area that has the most hair

3. Brush up and coat inner outer corner

4. Brush and coat brow tail - Use short bristles for shaping. Use long bristles to brush up and fluff

The Benefit Gimme Brow+ Gel is a more natural finish brow gel. Formula-wise it's just like their 24-hr Brow Setter but this has a tint to it. I'm in the shade 05!

Out of the 2, I would still prefer the Benefit Gimme Brow+ Gel because it's not so heavy on the brows. Besides, I don't really need my brows to stay up for 3 days since I wash my face twice a day anyway. The Maybelline Tattoo Brow tint shades are also either too dark or too light for me. It makes my brows too dark and thick unlike the Benefit one.
