life not together in your 20s? its okay

this has been on my mind for a hot minute and i plan to do a youtube video on this super soon but i feel like so many of us 20 somethings need to be reminded of this:

it's okay if you don't have your life "together" in your 20s. no one expects you to.

i'll be turning 26 next year and honestly since i turned 23 there has been a cloud of doom over my head because i've felt like everyone has it all figured out but me, and i'm running out of time.

i could put so much blame on social media and the pressure to get our lives together and seeing so many people live seemly perfect lives... but i also blame myself.

because no one has been holding those standards over my head but me.

not really knowing what i wanted out of life or what career i'd be doing, and being sort of a "late bloomer" was taking a toll on me. but i realized..

i've only just scratched the surface of adulthood. there is so much pressure to have it all together in your 20s but this is the decade where so much still has to COME together. of course we haven't figured it all out. i mean who really has lol.

to my 20somethings out there, we have the rest of our lives to have it all together. stop stressing yourself out and remember your journey wont look like the next person's.

everything you want is still achievable and you haven't run out of time. enjoy the journey there 🫶🏾
