I work for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Credentialing Specialist!

In a nutshell, I ensure clinical staff have the necessary education, trainings, licenses, & certifications to practice in the federal healthcare setting in accordance to our policies.

We also check references and employment history as well. Sounds like HR, right? Well we’re not. We fall under Compliance, and we work hand in hand with HR.
