SAVE THIS! 😋 THE BEST BANH MI IN THE WEST! 🥖

A hidden gem thats so underrated in jurong east!!! 😤

Tucked away inside a coffeeshop,Ba Buông Bánh Mì is relatively affordable with amazing portions!

Here’s what we ordered (Total: $22.30)

1️⃣ Banh mi combo (Traditional banh mi and Vietnamese milk coffee)

2️⃣ Beef and cheese banh mi

3️⃣ Bbq Pork banh mi

Our honest review:

☕️Firstly, the coffee! We expected a really sweet watery coffee like the usual kopi bings that you get at the coffee shop but NO! It was stronkkk like the Vietnamese drip coffees and we could even see the coffee grounds at the bottom of our coffee! That’s already a good sign for us 🫣

🥖The baguette was crispy! Of course, you’d think this should be a given, but not all shops bake the Banh mi for you! 🫤

🍖The fillings in the bread was generous! They gave 4 meatballs in the beef and cheese banh mi! The traditional one was filled with pate and the sliced processed meat was also really generous! What we liked was the additional touch by the picked radish and carrot! 🥕

🛸The portions were comparable and even better than the subway 6-inch and is more value for money!! The whole banh mi just brought us back to when we were eating it in HCM and Hoi an! The pate and that secret sauce that nobody ever knows what it is just gave it that really authentic touch.

🇻🇳The staff were Vietnamese, but they could speak some chinese and converse with us in English! But of course, you’ll hear them speaking to each other in Vietnamese given thats their native language.

😋Overall, the best Banh mi so we’ve had so far in our 25 years of being a Westie! 🥹 Will def be back for more!!!!
