How to spend 7D6N in Bali! 😎 Save for next trip!

Steal our itinerary here! We spent our 2024 countdown and new years in Bali and here’s what we did:

Waterbom Bali

After we landed in Bali, we headed straight for the water park the next day at around 2pm andthe park closes at around 6pm. By around 5pm we cleared all the rides and was just chilling in the lazy pool so we decided to wash up before everyone rushes to the showers before the park closes since there’s only 1️⃣ toilet that has shower cubicles (thats beside the entrance…)

Kuta Beach

We camped at kuta beach for our countdown and crowded was an understatement! There are tons of beach clubs and 2 malls in the area so it was packed! The roads were also closed for the countdown so we had to walk out to get to our pickup for the hike!

Mt Batur

Exhausted was just not giving our bodies enough credit… this is our third hike in a week! And we didn’t get much sleep after the countdown parties before zooming off to hike Mount Batur to catch the first sunrise of 2024!

Subak cooking class & Cooking class in ubud

We booked the morning cooking class session which came with a local market tour and a tour of the local rice fields! At the local market, you get to try the local fruits (we tried Salak and the local durian) and some snacks! For the cooking class, you learn 9 Balinese dishes and get to bring home the recipe! 😋

📌 Money saving tip: 🤑We booked the Bali pass on klook with 1 super saver activity and 2 standard activities which cost us around $100 per person. It’s more worth it this way if you’re planning to summit Mount Batur too cos the sunrise trek is already $50+ in itself! 🤯

Daddy & Mom Surf School 🌊

We booked our surf class here on klook too and it cost us around $16 per person for a 2 hour lesson and it comes with a rashguard and some photos of your surf! 🏄🏄‍♀️

🏨 For cheap accoms, we stayed at H-ostel Kuta Bali for 3 nights and paid $49.50 for 2 pax! The location’s amazing cos its only a short walk from the beach and mall! The other 4 nights we stayed in an airbnb with our friends in the Jimbaran area, which is slightly more local.
