bacon wrapped asparagus

grocery list

* asparagus bundle

* package of puff pastry

* 1 lb bacon

* 2 tbs melted butter

* onion powder

* garlic powder

* 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

* fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

directions

1. throughly wash and dry asparagus then set aside

2. cut thawed pastry dough and bacon into long thin strips

3. wrap asparagus with bacon and puff pastry

4. mix onion and garlic powder into the melted butter, and brush over asparagus

5. place wrapped asparagus on a lightly greased cookie sheet and cook according the to the packaging on your puff pastry

6. top with parmesan cheese when there is 2 minutes remaining
