Brief Description:

We are back at the MomCom Brownstone and if book one was any indicator of how our Mr. Beckett is always plotting and being mischievous trying to play “Cupid”, he’s right back at it with Dylan. Dylan is our free spirited friend who believes in slowing the universe lead her and to take control. But between Beckett and the Universe our girl Dylan is in for a whirlwind of a ride when Beckett makes a trade for one of the top catchers in the league. Cortney Miller the seasoned catcher who is a creature of habit has his whole life shaken up when he’s traded to the Revs. Well as “chance”would have it, Dylan and Cortney meet in the locker room after a winning game and immediately it comes to an end due to some minor events(iykyk 😂). Well soon after Cortney notices that his lucky socks are missing and one of his teammates say they say one of the kids swiped them during the fiasco. Cortney pays the brownstone a visit to collect his socks and sees our girl Dylan again. Well a few things lead to another and what they thought was going to be a one night stand leads to baby on the way. Dylan is cautious even with her trust in the universe, she is still weary due to her last pregnancy experience. One this about Cortney though, he has made it his life mission to get the girl. 🥰

Thoughts:

I loved this so much! This book was so cute and definitely loved this read. It has the funny moments, the lovable moments and characters and of course who doesn’t like some spice sprinkled in. @jennibarabooks did such a wonderful job on this book and I love how it leads us to the next book in the series. The MomCom authors did a great job in both having their own voices but also tying all the characters and books together. I recommend for sure as pallet cleanser and just an overall light reader.
