Alchemist – Trendy Café with Excellent Coffee Tucked Away in the Historic Khong Guan Building

You may not have expected to find a hipster café within this interesting and nostalgic building located where MacTaggart Road and Burn Road meets.

As you look up to the top and read from right to left, you would notice the words 康元 which means Khong Guan.

If you're looking for quality third wave specialty coffee in Singapore, this is the place to visit. During my visit, two blends were available: Dark Matter, which was bold and nutty, and Areka, offering berry-fruity and floral notes.
