Healthy cookie dough balls
Craving cookie dough but looking for a healthier option? This recipe is for you! Literally only takes a couple minute to make & is packed with protein, healthy fats & fiber to satisfy that sweet tooth & nourish your body from within!
INGREDIENTS
1 can chickpeas (rinsed & drained)
1/3 c peanut butter
3 tbsp maple syrup
Sea salt to taste
Chocolate chips
METHOD
01. Add chickpeas, peanut butter, maple syrup & sea salt to a Food Processor
02. Blend on high until smooth cookie dough consistency
03. Take out blade & pour in chocolate chips- mix well
04. Roll into balls & enjoy!
*I recommend storing these in the refrigerator
You could also turn these into bars by simply adding the dough to a lined loaf pan & cutting into bars! I promise that you do not taste the chickpeas what’s so ever. If you prefer it a little sweeter you can always add a little coconut sugar to the mix!
