My take on the First Episode of “Lovely Runner”

I just started watching Lovely Runner, just two episodes and the first thing I have to say about it is, that the first episode was really funny 🤭 I loved it!!!! The comedy was as balanced as the other parts of the plot.

I don’t want to spill all the tea but in case some of you hope to watch it too, I’ll give y’all a summary.

🏃‍♀️Summary of Lovely Runner Episode One:

Sol (lead actress) tries to kill herself because she will not walk again and Seon Jae (lead actor) saves her by speaking some words of encouragement. She then falls in love with his music and remains grateful to him.

Seon Jae on the other hand, commits suicide due to depression. He is pronounced dead and everyone goes back in time. Sol remembers what happened and tries to do all she can so he does not kill himself again.

Slide 2: when he encouraged her while she was in the hospital bed.

Slide 3: she goes for an interview but cannot get the job cos of the stairs. Her wheelchair is her disadvantage.

Slide 4: She meets him after his show. They exchange gifts and a few hours later he commits suicide.

Slide 5: They are now in the past. He is a swimmer here and she meets him for the first time.

I couldn’t follow my kdrama lovers to finish watching “Queen of Tears” & “Marry my Husband” but I promised to do this one with Lovely Runner tho I’m late lol. Nobody has spoken about the traumatic part so maybe we haven’t gotten there yet cos we’re yet to recover from what the Queen of Tears did to us.
