Dos and Don’ts of Food in Philly

⭐️ Go to smaller businesses - some of the small places have really good food for cheap. I don’t remember the name (sadly) but I once got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a coke and it was less that $5.

⭐️ If you want a cheesesteak, get it from John’s Roast Pork or Tony Luke. John’s Roast Pork is literally a shack on Snyder, but my entire family swears be them (see DON’T number 3)

⭐️ Reading Terminal Market is AMAZING

⭐️ Italian Market and China Town have a lot of good food for cheap. Me and some friends spend a lot of time there.

DONTS

⭐️If you get a cheese steak don’t go to Pat’s or Geno’s they have insane lines and aren’t that good. Also Geno’s owners are conservatives who are xenophobic.

⭐️ Don’t go to fast food restaurants

⭐️ Don’t judge a place by the exterior, just it’s cleanliness on the inside
